Provincial roads North Holland sustainably lit

14 October 2025

This October, Culemborg-based installation company BAM INFRA is putting the finishing touches to new LED street lighting on a number of N roads in the southern part of the province of North Holland.

For example, over 800 pieces of Innolumis Victoria luminaires have been installed along the N197, N200, N202, N203, N206, N208 and the N513.

Innolumis calculated the right output and light colour for each lighting column for each route, because the presence of bats along a number of N-roads running through dune areas in North Holland had to be taken into account. Thus, the light colours 2700K, 3000K and BAT lamps were applied.

Again, these luminaires were fully assembled in the Netherlands by people with a distance to the regular labour market at social development company iederz in Groningen.

With this new, low-energy and low-maintenance lighting, the aforementioned N-roads are once again well lit and road users will be able to continue their journeys safely during the dark hours for at least the next 20 years.

In the coming period, more of the province's N roads will be fitted with new Innolumis lighting.

We thank the employees of BAM INFRA for their confidence in company and product and their expert installation of the Victoria luminaires.
