The Night of the Night is an annual event organised by The Nature and Environment Federations.
During the Night of the Night, events are organised throughout the country in the dark. In addition, hundreds of companies and municipalities turn off lights of buildings and advertising lights. This year, the Night of the Night is being organised for the 21st time with hundreds of great activities.
Innolumis supports this wonderful event. We think darkness is an important value in our excessively lit world. Therefore, we should always first consider whether a cycle path, footpath or road should be illuminated. Whether dynamically or not. If not then don't. But street lighting is often necessary for social or road safety reasons.
It is then advisable to choose well-shielding luminaires that can direct artificial light to where it is really needed. This also prevents annoying stray light to the surroundings.
