New milestone in luminaire production process Innolumis

5 November 2025

Innolumis' latest cone luminaire Luciana has recently become available for use as street lighting in public and semi-public spaces.
Unique in the production process of this luminaire is that, for the first time, the mould was developed and produced entirely on Dutch soil in cooperation with our partner AKF from Naarden and Brink Moulds & Automation Harskamp.

Brink, based in the Veluwe town of Harskamp, specialises in injection moulds for various applications.

For the production of the Luciana, Innolumis was looking for a company that could make the new mould for this luminaire. Previously, moulds for Innolumis' products were made in China, but for various reasons it was decided to have this made in the Netherlands for the first time.

Brink's expertise and high quality were the deciding factors in having this essential component made by a purely Dutch company as well. Meanwhile, the mould has been delivered to the Amsterdamse Kunststof Fabriek (AKF) in Naarden where the windows of the Luciana will be injection moulded from this mould.

With this step, Innolumis is another step closer to having all its products made entirely of Dutch components. By doing so, it also supports the manufacturing industry on Dutch soil.

We would like to thank our partners Brink and AKF for the successful realisation of this mould, which will soon allow almost truly Dutch street lighting products to be admired in the Dutch streetscape.
