In recent years, the province of North Holland has strongly committed to the sustainability of its lighting areas along the many N-roads in this province. A large part of this has now been completed in the southern part of the province, and in the near future, the northern part of this province will also be addressed.
For each route, Innolumis, in consultation with the province and installers, has carried out lighting calculations to a detailed level; for example, the presence of bat species along certain routes, such as roads through dune areas, also had to be taken into account.
Both 2700 and 3000 light colours have been applied, and in certain cases, the bat-friendly BAT lamp. Depending on the mounting height, the smaller Mini variant has also been used alongside the Victoria fixture.
In this large-scale project, Innolumis is collaborating closely with installers BAM Infra and Hartog-Pilkes to achieve the sustainability of the lighting according to plan and on time.
